Precision Monitoring for Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a pungent, colorless gas used extensively in building materials, resins, and disinfectants. Formaldehyde is a known human carcinogen and can cause respiratory and skin irritation with prolonged exposure. In addition, formaldehyde can naturally be formed in the atmosphere from volatile organic compound (VOC) oxidation and can lead to carbon monoxide, ozone and particle formation affecting air quality and radiative forcing.
