CO – Carbon Monoxide

Precision Monitoring for Carbon Monoxide

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and toxic gas formed by the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing materials. It has both natural and anthropogenic sources in the atmosphere including volcanoes and fossil fuel combustion. In addition to health risks due to exposure and reduction of air quality, carbon monoxide will react with hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere, indirectly affecting radiative forcing.
